COVID-19 Update 11/21/2020

In an effort to comply with the new Federal requirement of informing residents, responsible parties and families to the number of confirmed positive COVID-19 virus cases within Transitional Care of Las Vegas, we will be updating this website on a regular basis.  The following is a summary of the number of positive cases in Nevada and at Transitional Care of Las Vegas, as well as what the facility done in response to COVID-19.

 

Today is 11/21/20, in Nevada there are 1,094 licensed Congregate Settings (Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Child Care Facilities, Behavioral Inpatient and Correctional Facilities.  etc) with positive COVID-19 cases. In the state of Nevada there are 130,123  positive cases of the COVID-19 virus.  As of April 20th, we opened up our Specialized Care Unit to provide care for COVID-19 positive patients in the Las Vegas Valley. In total, at Transitional Care of Las Vegas. As of today, there have been 53 patients tested positive while in the facility.  To date There has been 10 patient deaths.   We have also had 47 employees who have tested positive for COVID-19.  This includes 15 asymptomatic employees that were tested as part of the CMS/State of Nevada mandate. All employees are following the appropriate CDC criteria in returning to work.
